Hope everybody is having a safe and happy beginning to Thanksgiving week.

As we record this, U.S. and Wales playing in their opening World Cup game. The U.S. scored on a through goal from Pulichick. I can't remember

who got the goal. What does that mean? A through goal. It was a perfect pass down the middle.

Okay. And he scored. Goalkeeper came out, but it was too late. Because I can't be the only one listening to this podcast right now that doesn't know what that means. Got the goal. So the U.S. leads won nothing. They are in the 49th minute as we taped this. So probably by the end of the show, we'll know the outcome of this particular contest.

But we're going to talk a lot of football here on the show.

Obviously, it's coming to the end of the regular season.

It's rivalry week.

You got the Egg Bowl, the Iron Bowl, the Apple Cup,

all those games this weekend.

So all those happening all over the country.
