Republican health care reform now hangs by a thread.

Hello again, I'm Arunalmi, and this is To the Point.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell does not yet have what he needs to get rid of

Obamacare. It will only take two Republican defectors to break seven years of promises. Several

moderates and conservatives are threatening to vote no, so today McConnell announced he's delayed

the vote till after the July 4th recess. His measure reduces the federal deficit, which could provide the resources needed for

political horse trading.

President Trump may be poised to retaliate in hopes of getting a win.

House Speaker Paul Ryan says, I would not bet against Mitch McConnell.

Later on today's talking point entrapment, interrogation, and torture the stories of gay men fleeing the LGBT purge in Chechnya.
