We'll talk about that in a little bit, but first we want to get right into it.

And what I want to get right into is this question of Mitch McConnell's relationship with

Joe Biden and his relationship, such as it is, with Donald Trump.

What's going on with McConnell, Biden, and Trump?

Now, I don't know if you saw McConnell's interview with Brett Baer on Fox News special

report on Thursday, but is definitely worth watching.

I was watching, waiting to be on the panel that evening and discuss the interview.

It was really newsy for what McConnell would not say and for what he did say.

Okay, so first of all, McConnell came prepared to talk about the current president of the

United States, Joe Biden, very prepared.

He did not come prepared.

He came prepared not to talk about the former president of the United States, Donald Trump.

So the interview starts off with Brett Baer asking McConnell about something Joe Biden

had said about this COVID relief bill.

You might want to call it the COVID relief and much more bill, the $1.9 trillion bill

that Democrats want to pass.

So Biden is at an event on Thursday and he says, quote, let me ask a rhetorical

question, what would you have me cut?

So that's kind of interesting.

Why is that a rhetorical question?
