On today's broadcast, we begin with the breakdown of the conclusion, the thrilling conclusion of the race for the Speaker of the House, which is finally over, and what was accomplished with all of the infighting, et cetera, not too much, but a couple of big things, namely commitments to more investigations, more conservatives and key committees, and a commitment

to have spending bills be single issue, which could be really terrific if that comes to fruition.

These are not bad results, but were they worth the semi-humiliating food fight?

Only time will tell I'm naturally pretty skeptical of it all, but we try to break it all down

for you on the broadcast.

And then we hit a few other topics before we have two terrific guests, A-plus guest today,

Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri and then Christian conservative filmmaker and now author, Kirk Cameron.

Kirk's children's book was canceled by a public library or two, and he's not backing down,

trying to get the word out about

God and country for the youngsters. And he really does seem like a guy who's well worth your support.

So you'll hear from both of those gentlemen. Let's get into it.

Thank you. And we'll start with the speaker of the house race got resolved and it was just very odd,

in my opinion. It was one of the more odd news cycles. And the fact that this evoked so much passion, people just losing control, grown men, just having emotional fits. I think it was

pretty well documented.

How on the pro McCarthy side, it seemed like Dan Crenshaw, who's been in the show a number of times,

and I generally appreciate it when he shows up, seemed to, you know, lose it on national TV and get very emotional about it.

And a lot of the anti-McCarthy

people just seem to just grown men, people who play alpha males on Twitter, just completely

beside themselves that the not everyone would support the 20 people who stood against McCarthy,

that number kept dwindling down. And I was watching from the sidelineselines going I don't think I get all this completely.

I will say I do appreciate Brett Winterball and Mike Slater who filled in.
