| 1:04.4 | primarily if you can reduce the cost of health care and reduce the amount the US spends on health |
| 1:09.4 | care, then we can get more people to be able to buy insurance. |
| 1:14.0 | And at that level, they both have it to that extent. |
| 1:18.0 | Now, what about their solution? |
| 1:20.0 | Well, they differ quite a bit in terms of how they would reduce costs. |
| 1:24.0 | Not surprisingly, Barack Obama tends to take a very heavy-handed government solution. |
| 1:30.0 | He would impose premium caps on insurers. he would have price controls on pharmaceuticals, |
| 1:35.4 | he would have a host of regulations designed to try to force down costs, a practice guidelines |
| 1:41.3 | to try to tell doctors what's the most efficient way to practice medicine. |
| 1:46.0 | Essentially he would believe in sort of a command and control style of cost reduction. |
