My brother, as you know, because I talk about it all the time,

Christopher William Berry died January 25th of last year.

And so, you know, I call my parents every single day now,

because, and if I don't, if I don't make it that day,

I feel terrible, so I make sure I call it.

And oftentimes what'll happen is I remember to call them

when I got a minute before I'm pulling into the house

and everybody's waiting on me or I'm pulling to me.

But I say, if I postpone this,

there may not be another moment where I can talk to them again.

So I call them.

And part of that is I know that my parents,

but especially my mom, is going through a lot of grief.

Well, Ray Hunt, who's the head of the police officers union,

who's a dear friend, he knew my brother.

And when my brother passed, law enforcement from all over the country

would send me stuff to send them a cap

from their department, a challenge coin, you name it.

And Ray sent her some Houston police officers union shirts

and caps and everythings for her and my mom,

her and my dad, and he wrote the nicest note.
