That's because Maz is here. And Maz would normally be in the A-hole chair. But because he's remote in Baltimore, as you're going to be in the booth for this whole series, right? It's not just a couple of games. Because I know some of these, you know, you've only done one or two games because they put some of these games on Apple. you're doing this whole series, Maz, right?

Correct. Yep. Nesson has all three, so I will be here Friday, Saturday, and apparently through a potential rain delay on Sunday, Murray. I have made it through this season up to this point without a real rain delay to thwart me, and I think I'm going to get one on Sunday. Oh, that's a pain of the ass. It blows. Mazdown and Baltimore, Matt McCarthy in my normal spot. And you at 617-779-0-985. Matt, I guess I haven't picked your brain. Your thoughts about the Patriots opener on Sunday in Miami. What have you made of their weird practice accommodations this week, which we've had some fun at, and rightfully so. I mean, how can you not with those sound effects of the airplane? It's unbelievable. You know, and you're practicing next to the airport down in West Palm, kind of near Miami. Do you like their chances? Do you give them a sniff? I mean, do I give them a sniff? Yeah, I'm not picking them in this game. But, I mean, it's not going to be the most absurd thing on earth if they win this game. I'm just not going to pick them because it's hard to really feel good about the direction of the Patriots right now, based on the training camp they had, based on the preseason games that they had, based on this week where it just all kind of feels a little bit second rate. I mean, that has to be one of the takeaways from last night too. I mean, that's Thursday night. That's the opening game of the NFL season. That's, you know, you got the Sunday night football crew in there. Like, it used to be the Patriots birthright. That used to be who they were. And now they're not. Now they're kind of this second rate operation practicing

it like this community college or wherever the hell they're practicing with the airplanes

flying overhead. Like it just feels second rate. It feels like I don't know who the Buffalo

bills used to be. So it's hard to feel great about the direction of the team right now. I'm

most concerned about the offensive line.

They've got to figure this out.

They've got to protect Mack Jones. I am not saying this is going to be a 5 and 12 season. Far from it. I've got the Patriots at 9 and 8. You know, something breaks their way. Maybe they're 10 and 7 and they're a playoff team. I don't have them as a playoff team right now. I have them on the outside looking in.

But this is one of those games where I have them losing tomorrow,
