I'm wondering what you learned about timetables and readiness

from what you went through with both Roman Anthony and Marcel O'Mire

that can maybe get applied to

not only Franklin but other top prospects going forward. Yeah, I think we are a part of a market that

very much cares about the Boston Red Sox but also very much cares about the prospects that are coming up

and I don't know if there's any other region that is as knowledgeable about players

that are coming up through our organization as this as this organization there are probably

players in Worcester and players in Portland that could walk around the town and people would know

who they are I think for us it's I don't want to say noise but less focused on what people

believe externally and when a player's timeline is and when they're ready

and really focusing on our process, on the players' process, on the things they're working on, the goals we have set for them,

and making sure they achieve those goals and are being challenged at the same time that continue to progress.

So, you know, we have a lot of different conversations and a lot of really strong information that gives us, not a timeline, but more of a process to prepare for when these guys are ready. And making sure we stick to that versus worrying about what everyone else thinks. And while it's there, it's real, like really focusing on what's best for the player. And at the end of the day, we need to make the best decisions for the player in the organization. That's what we try to do.
