I am filling in for your regular co-hosts, Jake and Anders, who are both indisposed.

They're going through personal crises, much like the crisis that led me to post on Reddit

asking why African Americans don't tip.

I am hosting the show now.

Senate campaign is on hiatus.

Maybe I'll come back when Twitter decides if I'm okay or not.

But until then, you, man, this is rough on the vocal cords. Harder than I thought. That was a more difficult impression than I, Andrew Jaley here, thought it would be. I've tried it a couple

times and I listened back to the first time I did an impression of Mr. Platner and it just sounded

like me. I was in my head, it's his voice and then as is the phenomenon quite frequently with impressions,

it sounds just like me with a slightly lower voice. And I tried to really capture the full,

the fullness of his voice. Trying to think of a synonym for voice. There's not a lot out there.

But there will be further Platner impressions, maybe not even

on this show. I think in the world we're going to see more of those and hear them. But suffice to

say, Jake is not here this week. I am here, as always, I have no choice but to be here present, as is my mantra.
