Pete Buttigieg has been the President of the Treasury Secretary for a couple of years,

coming under criticism for not having visited the town until now, despite the trauma of that train derailment.

He finally showed up this week and let's listen to what he had to say.

Well, to be clear, our department was on the ground within hours, helping with the response and the investigation.

Again, I respect the separate role of NTSB, but we have been on the ground literally from day one
