From the coronavirus pandemic to the quest for statehood, there's a lot going on here

in Washington, D.C. and smack in the middle of it all is Muriel Bowser, the eighth mayor

of the District of Columbia.

In this conversation reported during a Washington Post live event on May 6, we got into all

of that.

But the number one question folks in Washington asked me to ask Mayor Bowser was this,

then will she lift the COVID restrictions on dancing at event venues?

The mayor made no news with her response, but where she did make news was on the future

of Black Lives Matter Plaza.

Here Mayor Bowser talk about how the big, bold, yellow letters that define it came into existence

and what will happen to it now that Donald Trump is out of the White House right now.
