On today's show, we are interviewing a real estate developer, an entrepreneur by the name of Lynn Palmer.

And Lynn Palmer has invested greatly in downtown Broken Arrow, because the business climate in Broken Arrow is very good for business.

And that's in large part due to the leadership of Mayor Craig Thurmond.

And I do not take having a great mayor for granted because we could be living,

I could be living in Chicago. Maybe you are living in Chicago where your mayor actually banned

you from getting haircuts, but yet continues to get haircuts and then when

asked in a media interview why are you allowed to have haircuts when your

citizens are not allowed to have haircuts this is what she had to say.

And I'm out in the public eye and you know I'm a I'm a person who I take my personal

hygiene very seriously as I said I felt like I needed to have a haircut. I'm not able to do

that myself. And so there's the double standard. You can't get a haircut, but I can get a

haircut. You citizens, you can't get a haircut, but I can get a haircut. You citizens, you can't get a haircut because you're not in the public eye, because you're not the mayor, you need to socially distance yourself, you need to not get haircuts while living in this

quarantine but she as the mayor of Chicago deserves to get hair cuts that's the kind of

mayor that we could be dealing with in Broken Arrow, but we're not,

thankfully, because our mayor actually understands the US Constitution.

He absolutely understands your personal freedoms that we all enjoy as Americans. He understands the First Amendment rights

we all have to peaceably gather. He's a great mayor. He's a great friend and here he is.
