Summary
Season six is here, and I’m catching you up on life, summer, middle school survival, my solo Disney day, and the very real feeling of not being where I thought I would be by this point in the year.
This episode is about the mid year reset we do not always know we need. I’m talking about changing directions, showing up without waiting for motivation, letting go of shame, and remembering that not being where you want to be does not mean you are behind.
Maybe you are not failing. Maybe you are still becoming.

| 0:04.0 | I love a timer. |
| 0:05.0 | And when I set a timer for something, I can get stuff done. So this is your 30 minutes. Whether you want to relax, whether you're on your commute, whether you want to fold a load of laundry, whether you want to time 30 minutes to pick up or 30 minutes to take care of you. This is your 30 minutes. So grab an iced coffee or grab your sneering |
| 0:22.1 | will wherever you're at and let's settle in for 30 minutes together. And when this ends, |
| 0:26.5 | we can go back. Go back to what we were doing, go back to what we need to get done, or finish |
| 0:31.9 | having accomplished something. Life isn't all about productivity, but we can help each other. |
| 0:37.4 | Hey, it's Amanda. I know you're busy, but you're going to want to sit down for this one. |

| 0:52.3 | I'm so happy you're here. Welcome to season six. It's been |
| 0:56.4 | months since we've talked. It is finally summer. School is done. The relief is here. I honestly |
| 1:02.5 | felt like I went to school this year. So I am excited to jump in and get to talk with you. I feel |
| 1:08.7 | like it's been forever. There's so much to catch you up on. |
| 1:11.9 | And I want to touch on the fact and I want to say it again. It's been months since we've talked. |
| 1:17.2 | And when we started out this year, I had told you that we were going to do 52 episodes and |
| 1:22.0 | there was going to be an episode every week. And then when life happened and that didn't happen, it gave me a chance to reflect and look |
| 1:31.8 | at some things. And I'm honestly so excited because I feel like this message could not come at a |
| 1:36.2 | better time as we begin the beginning of June and we are halfway through the year. And I want to |
| 1:41.5 | like jump into all that. But first, can I just tell you that we conquered our first year of middle school, which is crazy. London had finals. We survived |
| 1:51.5 | studying for finals, which I didn't have to take the test, but I honestly felt emotionally like I was |
| 1:56.6 | taking the test. And we just had so many experiences. We had our first dance. I don't know if you saw that. I'm pretty sure I was as excited as she was because a first dance is such a big deal. I didn't go to, I wanna say, my first dance was in eighth grade, and it was a theme dance because I remember my mom rented me this costume from, and it was I Dream of |
