a lot of people don't have a voice.

And so when we as athletes who have a voice

can take the time to use that well

to give people a voice,

it changes everything.

And so use that voice well, athletes.

And it's just, there's nothing better

when you give somebody a voice

who hasn't had a voice.

It's, it's what keeps me going.

This week, we talked to basketball legend

Maya Moore about her decision to step away from the WMBA and focus on fighting the worst of the

criminal justice system. It's something no athlete in their prime has ever done, and we will speak to her.

to your fans about why you made this decision.

Yeah, I was able to, I think, really articulate pretty well earlier this year back in February of really the heart behind my decision and, you know, not wanting to try to take the time right then and there to necessarily, you know,

going into all the details that led me into that decision. But, you know, I think to say, you know, my priorities have shifted and I want to be more available to some of the things that I'm feeling conviction and called to be more present in and, you know, family and some, some ministry causes.
