Avination, welcome back to episode 137 of the Pilot to Pilot podcast. Today, I am talking to newly minted private pilot, Maya Ghazal. Maya, who grew up in Syria and now lives in the UK has overcome a good bit of adversity to get to where she is today. Find out what it was like to move from Syria to the UK, how she had to navigate around living in a new world where she didn't fit in right away, what it is like to be labeled as a refugee and how we can help other refugees feel welcomed.
