Now let's go back to the Bronx in New York City on May 9, 2006.

That Tuesday night, the party in Sandra Estrada's third floor apartment took a turn for the worse.

Her roommate, 44-year-old roofer Victor Gonzalez, argued with his boss, who just so happened to be Sandra's 36-year-old boyfriend, Wilfredo Pinto

LeBron, Jr. It wasn't the first time the two had gotten into a vicious argument. With alcohol

involved, Sandra knew it could last a while, so she removed herself from the situation

and waited it out in a friend's apartment.

According to the men's coworkers, Wilfredo was an intimidating figure who often bullied his subordinates.

But that evening, the usually quiet Victor had grown tired of Wilfredo's actions.

There were also unverified reports that the two were romantic rivals over Sandra.

As the night wore on, the two men continued fighting.

But now things were turning violent.

According to Victor, Wilfredo initiated the physical violence by punching him in the face, but Victor was the one to end it.

Victor grabbed a hammer and swung it at Wilfredo's head. The man went down, but Victor kept attacking.

He bludgeoned Wilfredo at least ten times. Then Victor grabbed a knife and stabbed Wilfredo through the heart.

The deed was done.

In fact, Victor was already on to the next part of his plan,

considering ways to dispose of the body.
