stories. We're starting with a little update to yesterday so yesterday I reported on the lawsuit filed by

TikTok and TikTok's parent company bite dance against the United States

government over what's called the Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act, but is better known by a lot of people as the

Tik-Tok ban. There were two main questions that I was getting after posting the

podcast as well as the post I. that I was getting

posted to social media.

Both really good questions, so I wanted to address them.

The first one was, how was this lawsuit filed

in the appellate court

without first being filed in a district court?

And it's a great question.
