last night, the New Yorker dropped a bombshell report about excessive drinking and physical abuse

by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman. He resigned by 10 p.m. The president is expected to announce today whether he's

getting out of the Iran nuclear agreement. In West Virginia, Don Blanketship could win the GOP primary election

tonight to face Joe Manchin, a West Virginia Democrat. Blanketship is a former Cole CEO who spends most

of his time in Las Vegas, and he also spent time in prison. If Blanketship wins, Republicans

believe it could rob them of one of their greatest pickup

opportunities.

Devin Nunes, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, is saying he'll hold Attorney General

Jeff Sessions in contempt of Congress.

Gina Haspel, Trump's in battle nominee to be CIA director, will be on Capitol Hill today

meeting with Jack Reed and Ron Wided ahead of her committee vote, which will take

place tomorrow. Also, expect the White House to drop a $15 billion recisions package today

that cuts heavily from the Children's Health Insurance program. This is an instance that Senate

Republicans might say the juice simply isn't worth the squeeze. Why cut from children's health

insurance in the middle of an election year? Rudy Giuliani told

our own Darren Samuelson that there is no one better to handle the Department of Justice than him.

This comes as Trump is tiring of the former New York mayor, according to news reports in Politico

and the Associated Press. The president is meeting with Senate Republicans this morning,

is lunging with Vice President Mike Pence and Homeland Security Secretary Kirsten Nielsen, will unveil his next move on the Iran nuclear

court at 2 p.m. And then we'll give a speech to the Federal Judges Association.
