What do you say there's always going to be varying levels of belief no matter what it is that we're looking at,

whether it be religious practices or individual pieces of theological stories or scriptures,

some that may resonate with us, some that may not.

Isn't there a certain level of belief in all of it?

Well, where it's, I think the delineation is between things you can know and things that

you don't actually know, but you're accepting and believing.

Right. Okay. Okay. So when you transition from, for example, if you're looking at

as scriptures as historical, nobody has any way to know that they're historical, no matter

what claims are made. And that goes for anything that you're handed as history not just

scriptures but scriptures have this other flavor of like the the ultimate fate of your soul attached

to it and has had such a huge sway on the way civilizations have clashed with each other

throughout time and if you instead switch to the allegorical understanding of scripture,

then all of a sudden you can read a passage, like say about, you know,

the death and resurrection of Lazarus and comprehend that it's referring to the death and rebirth

of the year and say,

okay, well, I know what this is.

I know that the year, the sun, you know, gets weaker and then gets stronger in a cyclical way.

So whenever you switch to the allegorical meaning and you find what it connects to in nature,

well, you can know the thing about nature. You're find what it connects to in nature well you can know

the thing about nature you're observing it it exists well that's what i was that's what i was going to say

and that's the thing about truth is it's true whether you believe it or not it's self-evident
