| 0:00.0 | I do not think, I do not think. So what do you get in this? Do you even listen to yourself when you talk? Hey, hey, we're live. Woo-hoo! Turn off your radio before it's too late. Hate it, hated, hated, hated, hated it. I told you this was a bad idea. Felger and Mass, 985, the Sports Hub. Lys shot. It drops down. |
| 0:22.3 | Bogartes is in. |
| 0:23.7 | Flaherty had to go all the way to the warning track. |
| 0:26.3 | And now you've got two men at second base. |
| 0:28.5 | Henry Ramirez kept on going. |
| 0:30.9 | And he lunges for Benintendi, and he is out. |
| 0:34.3 | And a base running blunder by the Red Sox. |
| 0:37.3 | He never looked up. I mean, he still didn't know till he got to second base that Benintendi was there. But he holds up. He has to play it safe. He can't be aggressive like Hanley is being. Hanley just was not watching. The Red Sox, frankly, have continued to shoot themselves in the foot on the base paths. Oh, totally. Defensively. This is ugly right here. The plate. Yeah, then we had that. Then we had Hanley Ramirez. That was tremendous. You actually start to show some life, claw back into it in the eighth. You know, a line drive to left field that looks like it's headed for the green monster, but Flaherty there in left field is a nice job cutting it off. Ben and Tendi has to hold between second and third because the left fielder has cut it off. And dingbat there just keeps running. Like you don't have a care in the world. And they both end up at second base. Good looking play, wasn't it? And then after the game, I loved Hanley's comment after the game. |
| 1:28.4 | Okay, Billy or Stu, who's ever back there? |
| 1:30.7 | Give me Hanley Ramirez after the game. |
| 1:32.5 | Were you watching the ball or do you not see Ben Attendee? |
| 1:35.3 | I don't throw my teammates under the bus. |
| 1:37.6 | It's my fault. |
| 1:38.7 | That's safe. |
| 1:40.1 | Shoot, for attention. |
| 1:42.0 | I don't throw my teammates under the bus. |
| 1:45.3 | So he's implying it's been a tendee's fault? Thus implying, you could say that it was Benintendi's fault? Yeah, I don't know what the hell he meant by that either. What's he supposed to do? Hanley, the ball's in front of him. It would have been an easy put-out at third. The left fielder had the ball. It didn't get to the wall. Does he realize that yet? See, I just don't think. I'm not, I'm not going to throw my team, thus implying that you could there, that you could go if you wanted to. I don't throw my teammates. No, no, no. Right. You know, you know, Ben and Tenney clearly should have been a third there. What? To me, it's his typical Hanley, again. You know, the one thing he gives me. Why? Once he leaves the batter's box, all bets are off. That's the lesson. You have no idea what you're going to get. So, and I'll tell you the other good part of it is, when you watch the play, he makes no attempt to go back. None. Zero well i'm screwed i might as well just stand here freight train to coming they're lucky they didn't get doubled up on that play hanley put his foot on the bag just in time i was just going to say there was some uh awkwardness there with foot's on the base absolutely so technically you know because ben attendee stepped off so he was out but if ben attending and hanley had both been on the bag, Hanley's out, Benetendi stands. |
| 2:53.2 | Let's get to the Adam Jones situation. |
| 2:54.9 | Adam Jones situation. |
| 2:56.0 | This can of worms, which just evolves into a totally annoying conversation, which is why, you know, |
| 3:02.5 | we're not going to spend all day on it. |
| 3:04.4 | But it does obviously need to be addressed because after the game, the Baltimore |
