Coming up on Sword and Scale Daily, the manhunt for accused killer, Peter Manfredonia,

concluded on Wednesday night when the suspect walked out of the woods near Hagerstown,

Maryland and surrendered to law enforcement.

Authorities in New York identify one of the victims of the Gilgoyle Beach Killer as 24-year-old

Valerie Mack from Philadelphia.

Finally, as protests over George Floyd's death continue in Minneapolis, it emerges that

two of the four officers involved in the incident have been previously implicated in misconduct.

Peter Manfredonia, who had been on the run for six days after allegedly killing too

many Connecticut, peacefully surrendered to law enforcement on Wednesday evening.

CBS News, Philadelphia reports that officers from several jurisdictions, including the US

marshals, Connecticut State Police and the Washington County Sheriff's Office, were

assembled in the parking lot of gas station, outside Hagerstown, Maryland, around 9 p.m.

when Manfredonia walked out of a wooded area.

One of the officers noticed that the man looked like they're fugitive and then walked

over with guns drawn and took him into custody.

Manfredonia was taken into custody by the Marshall Service and the Washington County Sheriff's

Office, and is being held as a fugitive at the Sheriff's Office, pending extradition

to Connecticut.
