Tonight, a wave of deadly tornadoes leaves a path of destruction across much of the country as forecasters predict. torn 45 people are killed in an Israeli airstrike on a tent camp in the Rafa.

And on this memorial day, how advancements in DNA technology

are helping identify the more than 80,000 US.S. service personnel still missing in action.

Every one of these missing service members is a fallen hero.

And so the least that we can do is honor them by trying to continue to push the science to bring News Hour.

Global outcry continued today after an Israeli

airstrike on a tent camp in the southern Gaza city of Rafa

killed dozens of Palestinians.

We'll have more on that shortly.

But first, back here in the U.S.

Emergency responders and crews are continuing to search through the wreckage

from a wave of tornadoes that hit the south.

At least 22 people were killed in this weekend

storms including four children. Hundreds of thousands lost power and the

storms cut brutal paths of destruction through many towns.
