Today I'm talking about the airline's fury at the refusal to expand the Green List.

We've also heard from the Transport Secretary that next week the Green List won't be changing dramatically.

the Transport Secretary said that every single train job

has been saved during the coronavirus pandemic.

Well, what a lot's been going on today.

The day really began with a group of airline bosses saying that they are absolutely furious

at the way that the Greenlist is not allowing them to travel to

almost anywhere. There was an online news conference organised by Airlines UK and the chief

executive of Jet 2 for instance said it's been very frustrating to hear the government say that travel is dangerous.

They believe all of the chief executives that you could expand the list very significantly.

At the moment, of course, the only significant European summer sun destination is Portugal.

And at Jet 2, Mr Heapie's airline has cancelled all flights and holidays

until late June. The boss of EasyJet, Britain's biggest budget airline, says the government has turned

guessing the green list into a guessing game which is led by neither data nor science and that was

echoed by jonathan hinkels who's the boss of loganair who said that trying to second guess this is

like pin the tail on a donkey competition they also are furious at the way that there's a divergence
