And I'm Anna Palmer. We've got some news at the top today. Sean Groman, who most recently was the executive producer of Fox and Friends, Fox News's morning show, which typically counts President Donald Trump, as a viewer is joining

targeted victory, the GOP consulting firm.

He'll be based in New York.

And our colleague Anita Kumar emailed us that the hunt is still on for Trump's immigration

czar, though interest appeared to wane after the president fired DHS Secretary Kirstenielsen

last month.

One name in the mix, Thomas Holman, the

tough-talking former acting director of ICE and Fox News regular, who had been mentioned as a

possible successor before Nielsen's departure. Homan spoke to the White House but told

Kumar he was merely offering advice about how the job should be structured. When asked if he

would consider the job,

Holman was non-committal. He said he wasn't sure he wanted to come back because he was enjoying

retirement too much. The D-Triple C raised $7.85 million in April. More than four million

of that chunk came from small contributions with an average donation of $19.

Alex Eisenzad is reporting that Trump and his team are scrambling to reverse the dip in

support he's seeing in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Three Rust Belt states that propelled him to the presidency.

Behind the scenes, his team has aided state Republican parties and are looking for opportunities

to fire up his base there.
