for a message from the American Beverage Association. Trump administration sources tell us that

Tiger Woods is coming to the White House next Monday to celebrate his recent win at the Masters Tournament. President Trump is a huge fan of Tiger and golf should be interesting.

Fresh off his dramatic hearing in the Senate yesterday, Attorney General Bill Barr was due to

appear before the House Judiciary Committee today. But the Justice Department said last night that he

isn't coming. DOJ also said Barr won't comply with the Democrat subpoena demanding he released the full unredacted Mueller report by today's deadline.

So what will House Judiciary Chair Jerry Nadler do now?

We already know he'll hold a mock hearing this morning with an empty chair.

Then what?

Will he tee up a committee vote

to cite Barr for contempt of the first subpoena? And later, will he slap Barr with another

subpoena and make him testify? Hillary Clinton was on Rachel Maddow's show last night,

and she had this to say about Barr. I think the Democrats on the committee did a good job

in exposing that he is the president's

defense lawyer. He is not the Attorney General of the United States in the way that he has

conducted himself. Turning now to 2020. Daniel Lipman and I spoke with several people who talk

frequently with President Trump to get a feel for how he's thinking about the Democratic field

these days.

Someone who knows the president told us this. With Trump, everything is personal, so a lot of the day is spent trying to assess the weaknesses of the other candidates. A senior administration

official said the president is not necessarily watching any one candidate, even though he has

been tweeting constantly about Joe Biden.
