We get that, and my name's Brand, by the way.

But one thing you should know about this is that we are really big on grace and talking about God's love for us. And that causes problems for some people. He's like, I want to hear about the rules. What about the rules? Well, you know what? Rules aren't really that remarkable. There's a lot of rules in the world. In fact, the whole world works that way. There's, you got to live up to this. you got to do that, you got to earn this, you got to deserve that. That's not remarkable.

What's remarkable is

Grace. And here's the other thing that I've learned, and maybe you have too. Rules can be wonderful

and wise and help people live better lives. That's good. But they don't change anybody's heart.

Ever. Ever.

You can't throw rules down.

Oh, now my heart has changed.

That may whip them into shape.

They may start living by the rules.

Doesn't change anybody's heart.

What changes somebody's heart is when they see grace in action.

They actually see somebody, forgive, and then bless somebody in spite of what they've done. That is heart-changing.

Your attention span is less than seven seconds. That's what they tell us. I think they're lying.

You think it's more or less? It's more. More. How did they get that figure? I don't...

Oh, humans' attention span is now shorter than a goldfish.

They say goldfish can pay attention for eight seconds. A, I want to see how they did that study.

That's what I wanted to know. The goldfish was watching the news, but it turned off.
