The New York State Attorney General's office is investigating the Trump organization in a criminal

capacity.

This dramatically ups the legal pressure on Trump.

A spokesperson for New York Attorney General Letitia James confirmed to Politico last night

that its investigation into the Trump organization is, quote,

no longer purely civil in nature, the latest development in James sweeping probe of former

President Donald Trump to see whether him and his family have a history of misstating property

values to get tax benefits. The new development could mean more potential liability for Trump, who's now also facing

a separate criminal probe from prosecutors in New York, and possible collaboration between

that investigation spearheaded by Syvance at the Manhattan DA's office and the one led

by State AG James.

You might have noticed as the violence between Israel and Hamas continues to spiral,

a sea change is quietly taking place within the Democratic Party.
