the number one story of the day. This is an interesting trend. You typically think of congressional

leadership, particularly in the modern era, as kind of

running everything. It's a very, very, very centralized operation. But there's kind of an

interesting trend we've been noticing here where all of a sudden there's a lot of other people

in the mix. That's right. I mean, the leadership has been decentralizing.

Usually, um, uh, the leadership keeps power concentrated pretty closely to the, um, to the leadership

suite, to the speaker's office, to the majority leader's office. But there's been a lot of
