The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention yesterday released some very sobering data.

Drug overdoses killed more than 107,000 Americans last year.

And that I'm sorry to say is a record.

It's up 15% from the last year.

To think of it differently, that averages to one person dead of an overdose every 5 minutes.

And that means that overdoses are now the leading cause of death in adults age 18 to 45.
