So the topic is, should I spend part of my prospecting time looking for CPAs?

So I thought about that because this person had just finished talking to their CPA. It's tax time. And so I don't think there's anything wrong with looking at other referral sources. Right. So I know we always think of the, you know, typically we think of the real estate agent. And, you know, for some reason, and for the life of me,

I don't know why. So many people are always looking for another source other than the number one

source. One thing I always keep in mind, 67% of all home buyers use the loan officer that the

real estate agent recommended. 67%, right? That that's a big number so always keep that in mind

but this is a question specifically about CPAs now I don't think there's anything wrong with working

with a CPA in fact I think there's a lot of right things about it I think it's totally cool but here's the

thing working with CPAs has a little bit of a flaw and as I'm recording this episode, it's tax season time. And the problem, the flaw that

working with CPAs has is you need to leave them the heck alone from about November to around like

the end of May because they do 90% of their work during during tax season and tax season runs about like

you know November-ish maybe you know middle of November until about May right that's kind of

tax season and and and and as I'm recording this we're getting we're coming up on April here, you know, April 15th,

classically the tax deadline to pay in their taxes. And so accountants, they're really busy.
