So for the past three years, we've been putting on this really odd event in the mountains

outside of Los Angeles.

We all troop up to this place called Lake Arrowhead that in the 1920s and 30s was a sort of Shishi

mountain resort for Hollywood types, but since it's become kind of a sleepy vacation community.

We go into this conference center that's also a summer camp for kids from UCLA.

It's sort of halfway in between Mountain Shalai or Hunting Lodge and you know the movie Meatballs.

It's a really remarkable place.

I mean, I conceived it as a sort of half comedy festival, half creativity conference.

And what I found the first year that I did it is that what's really amazing about it isn't

so much the content, although the content is amazing, it's the community.

Every comedian who stepped up the stage during our big Saturday night stand-up show had something
