today, really the most misunderstood person of the Trinity, Father's Son and the Holy Spirit.

In a little bit, Max Cicado joins me to talk about his brilliant book. Help is here,

finding fresh strength and purpose in the power of the Holy Spirit. This is another book that to me is just pure gold. It's a biblical unpacking of the Holy Spirit. Why are we so afraid to talk about the Holy Spirit? Well, my opinion is some have taken the idea of the Holy Spirit to such an extreme. Like they have the corner on the Holy Spirit. There's one way to access him and this is how it looks. And other times there may be extreme behavior that's coming out of that where the pendulum will swing the other way. And some are like, I don't want to look like a fool, so I'm going to just not talk about the Holy Spirit. I want to maintain my respectability. Well, that's a problem as well, because you can make an idol out of respectability. before you know it. You've got a fair or sacal spirit. The Holy Spirit in Scripture is the wind. He's the comforter. He's a consuming fire. There's so many aspects to the Holy Spirit. And what a gift we have. In fact, Jesus himself said, it's better that I go away so the Holy Spirit can come. And imagine the disciples

going, how is it better that you leave? Once the Holy Spirit came and filled the hearts of men

and women who were in Christ, Jesus, that's when the kingdom started to move in our midst.

The very power that raised Christ in the dead is alive and available to us. So today's show, we're going to

just unpack the different aspects of the Holy Spirit. And again, we'll get Max on in a few minutes,

but I was just in preparation for today's show. It was thinking about some of the moments in my life

where I clearly hurt the Holy Spirit. And it was just really kind of a life-altering change.
