Jesus felt everything you and I have ever felt. Weariness, sadness, rejection, his feet got tired,

and his head ached. He was emptied of strength, and he was tested. To think of Jesus in such a light seems almost

irreverent, doesn't it? It's much easier to keep the humanity out of the incarnation. There's

something about keeping Jesus divine that keeps him distant, packaged, predictable. But it's only

when we let him into the muck and the mire of our world that he can pull us out. In becoming
