Well, it's only just a matter since it's got you late. Welcome. Welcome to Middays. I'm Susie Larson. So honored to get to spend this time with you. In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully inspire you in your faith walk, the deep in your understanding of God's word, and that heighten your awareness of God's very real presence in your life. So here's a question for you. Do you feel

happy? How long has it been since you've had this level of contagious, infectious, unflappable,

unstoppable, happiness? Maybe your answers all the time, and if so, God bless you. But for many

of us, the answers, well,

it's been a while. I used to be happy, and then life took its toll. Those words are from my friend

Max Likato's new book, How Happiness Happens. I'm so honored to welcome him back to the program.

His new book, we're celebrating today, is How Happiness Happens, Fine, fine lasting joy in a world of comparison, disappointment,

and unmet expectations. Max writes this. He says regarding happiness, there's another option.

It requires no credit card, monthly mortgage, or stroke of fortune. Age and ethnicity aren't even
