And we would like to begin by tossing it over to Lamar, who has a heartwarming story that he stumbled upon.

Lamar? It really is. A New York City woman died from cancer, but she has raised enough money to erase millions of dollars in medical debt with a posthumous plea for help.

Her name was Casey McIntyre, and she told her followers on social media posted by her husband that she had arranged to buy the medical debt of others as a way of

celebrating her life.

McIntyre posted, if you're reading this, I have passed away.

I loved each and every one of you with my whole heart, and I promise you, I knew how deeply

I was loved.

The post included a link to a fundraising campaign started

through the nonprofit organization RIP medical debt. McIntyre's husband Andrew posted the messages

on Tuesday and the campaign quickly blew past the $20,000 goal. It raised $140,000 in just a few days. That's enough money to

buy back $14 million in medical debt. Because if the hospital, well, because if the hospital has got a lot of

debt on something that they can't collect,

you can offer them pennies on the dollar to wipe the debt out.

So Gregory said that his wife had good health insurance and received great medical care,

but the couple had some terrifying charges on paperwork for her care.

What resonated for me, Casey said, is there's a good cancer treatment out there for people,

but people can't afford it.
