Hello and welcome back to the WTF1 podcast where we have had our first Grand Prix of the 2024 season.

Bar rain happened at the weekend.

It was on a Saturday which is very weird to get a head around.

We're going to talk about that later on but of course I am joined as always

by the brilliant Amber Jones here she is sat next to me welcome

Thank you Haines I actually really enjoyed Bahrain there's a few comments on the media about it

wasn't the most exciting race. I thought it was super exciting just because it was

the first Grand Prix so okay there wasn't loads of battles on track and obviously Max dominated but there was a few little interesting things that went on that I was like oh this going to be interesting for the rest of the season.

Yeah, I mean I can understand where social media is coming from that some people didn't like it.

They don't like the Max Domination.

I think it's the problem that we kind of got at the moment where we had such an influx of fans in 2021 where we had such a big season between Lewis and Max.

And now all those people have come in. They're kind of expecting that every season is kind of like this. know there's a lot of drama there's a lot of battles going on you know this is normal Formula One for me I've grown up with as a kid every now and then pop it in with the Schumacher domination and then the Vestapen domination area.

You're going to get these domination but it doesn't mean that racing is not exciting.

We had some really good battles.
