There was a fire approaching their house and all they had time to do was grab whatever they could grab, run out the door and either flee down the street or drive down the street.

And many of them actually, like you said, they really did end up running into the water, to the beach, into the water for some kind of protection from the heat and the oncoming fire.

We've absolutely had situations where we've had to grab our bag and go.

new clothes?

Because she turned six and she's wearing a size four.

And I'm like, oh, babe, you know, we should get you new clothes.

She's like, no, I'm fine.

And then the last few days, she's been like, mom, I really need some new clothes.
