The easiest way to say it is a sailing podcast, so I don't really have to be able to untechnical.

Both starboard shrouds went.

And we were about 10 degrees south, about 400 miles east of Brazil.

And yeah, just popping along, you know, a nice six knots full sail and I was sat down below

and you just hear that dreaded noise followed by that very unfamiliar movement.

Hey just a couple notes before we dive into the episode. The first half hour or so is pretty deeply about sailing and Maddie's solo sailing journey across the Atlantic this far, including a pretty interesting rigging failure story. As we wind down this on the wind season, we are ramping up to launching

Falcon, our new FAR-65, which is super exciting. I'll be going to the UK in January with a lot of our

team members to test sail the boat. And our first passage is in February, and there's still one

spot open on that.

and there, I think, are still a couple bunks on East Bjorn for next year as well.
