And the reason why they're amazing is because the music is amazing, but also they were truly Christians.

And so that was the thing about the Christian Medal Space, and we actually talk about that a little bit in this podcast,

is a lot of people were signing with Christian labels and playing at Christian festivals and no one in the band were Christians.

They just knew they could make money.

And so this was a band full of legitimate Christians.

Maddie obviously being the lead singer was a legitimate Christian, but a very brutally heavy

metalcore band, one of my favorite bands of all time and this is a

guy that has transitioned into being a senior pastor and we talk a lot about you know

you go from being you know metal to the itinerant preacher to you know going

and leading a church and we talk about the struggles

of leading a church and leading a church in a I guess an election year and different

things like that we also spend a lot of time talking about hunting talking about

Christian music talking about the altar so that's the band that I've

talked about quite a bit so I like Shane and Shane and I like the altar music and so
