I first started getting into sleep here a couple years ago.

Ever since Fitbit announced they were tracking sleep or they created a portion of their app for that.

I remember it was just kind of fascinated with it.

But then the Ore Ring came out and the Ore Ring is one that I've talked about in the show before,

really in-depth data about my heart rate resting heart rate, heart rate variability

in the different stages of sleep and I noticed I was getting pretty low deep sleep and I noticed I was getting pretty low deep sleep.

And so I reached out to my doctor, Dr. Peter Attia,

started talking to him about it and he suggested using things like cold, like a chilly pad, to kind of cool you down at night to

sleep better and once you start going down a rabbit hole I went pretty deep and

and started researching and reading up on the various studies that are out there, and there is a lot of data,
