Like, we're still here.

We're just going, you know, we're going a little bit away.

And, you know, that's the thing about getting traded.

And it speaks to the one way nature of these contracts.

The teams can rip them up at any time.

The players are stuck.

Oh, and the teams can send you to another business whenever they want.

Walmart can trade you to Target whenever they want.

NBC can trade you to CBS whenever you want.

Imagine the life.

And I'm just saying this because there's so much resentment for the natural ability that athletes have and the life. And I'm just saying this because there's so much resentment for the natural ability

that athletes have and the money that comes with it and the fame that comes with it. But

you've got some little part of you. And Chris, I don't know if you felt this during your time

in Tampa Bay, but there's some little part of you that's always aware of the

possibility that lightning is going to strike and upend your life by forcing you to sell your

house, buy a new house, uproot your family, and move to some other town that maybe you've

never been to and have no desire to go to. Because they traded you to another team.
