To have somebody on like Matthew McConaughey who I know we've worked together, you know,

we've seen each other around, but, you know, I have an affinity for him, but I don't really

get to see him or talk to him.

And I, and he's accomplished so much in his life and his career and he's, you know, occupies

a real specific place in the zeitgeist

and has, you know, done it all. And everybody listening probably has an opinion on Matthew and

feels like they know him. And nobody ever knows anybody, really. And so doing a long-form

interview is how you get to know people.

And, you know, McConaughey is, he's a brand.
