I don't know if you know this, but I was on vacation last week for a very much-needed break.

Right now I'm in the middle of launching one book and trying to finish my next book.

I wouldn't recommend doing both of those things at the same time.

Did it one other time before?

And I'm like, wanted to promise myself myself don't ever do this again it's a ton of work so getting

away was just an incredible gift and we chose replays that we thought would inspire you and bless you

you and I really pray that that was the case I've heard from a few of you on some of your thoughts on

the shows that you really enjoyed them I'm grateful but glad to be back in the saddle I always miss

you when I'm away well we've had Matthew mayor on the show a couple of times. He's got an amazing, amazing backstory. He's now a pastor who communicates with fierce faith and focused passion. We're talking today about God's sovereignty. We're actually going to look at the story of Esther and what we can draw from that story for our faith journey today. What is really going on, but

what our eyes can see? And how does God's sovereignty play into our faith story, our faith journey

today? We'll also talk about truth, the truth that sets us free, and how that's very different

from the whole phrase these days. You're hearing my truth and your truth. In fact, we were with

friends last night and one of my friends said, you know, this whole idea of my truth, your truth,

she said, people don't realize while they're grabbing a different version of truth because

it works for them. They don't realize they're depriving themselves of actual freedom because it's

the truth that sets us free. Isn't that good? When we try to manipulate our faith

to match our life, when we cherry pick what we want to be true, we're depriving ourselves of the

blood-bought freedom that Jesus won on the cross. Wow. Well, anyway, we've got a lot to talk about
