I'm Elvis Mitchell.

If you've listened to the show before, and you may have, You've heard me talk probably about Cuban cigars.

It happens to be a minor interest of mine.

I'm happy to say I'm sitting across from Matthew Gilp, who made a documentary about going to

the place in Havana where the master roller, the man who has a line of cigars named after him,

Robina.

First of all, Matt, thanks for being here.

Tell the audience about the title of the film and what the film is about.

Thanks so much for having me.

I'm a big fan of the show, and it's an honor to be here.

The title of the film is Prince of Smoke,

and it is the story of Hiroshi Rabina,

who is the grandson of Alejandro Rabina,

hailed as the godfather of cigars. So Hiroshi now has to, it's a

passing of the torch, and Hiroshi now has to live up to the expectations in the cigar community

and in some ways exceed his grandfather, which is extremely difficult, but bring cigars,

you know, to a whole new level. I wish to say that his grandfather was basically Castro's

roller, I mean, a legendary figure in that world, was he not?
