Summary
Matthew Calkins, a 35 year-old deaf man, was found murdered and dismembered in a basement in Kansas City after police and firefighters were called to the home. Matthew’s brutal murder shocked the community, and left his family heartbroken. It turns out, that Matthew’s murder may be connected to another death as well, and an accused killer has yet to go to trial. Matthew’s mom, Diane discusses her son’s tragic death, and the toll it’s take on her family.
