I pray that you have been enjoying, going through the Gospel of Matthew verse by verse.

Today, I want to just highlight a particular story that Matthew is trying to highlight about the inferior nature of the religious system and even the inferior nature of the inferior nature of the Old Testament, to the New Testament, and the kingdom from heaven

Later, Hebrews talks about the superiority of the New Testament to the Old Testament.

The word Testament is another word for covenant.

So the Old Covenant and the New Covenant.

And how because of the disobedience of man that there was found fault with the old covenant the old testament and the bible says that if if if the old testament was faultless,

But there was found fault in the Old Testament,

meaning because man was unable to live up to his part of the deal.

He was unable to live up to his part of the covenant. And so Jesus coming to earth was important because now understanding that man is frail and unable to live up to the conditions of the

covenant, what God does is he puts his name on man
