0:40.0	This is Unchaken, and yes, we'll be studying the Scripture this week, as always.
0:43.0	But before we go to the Sermon on the Mount, can we climb the Mount as in the mountain of the Lord, namely the temple?
0:50.0	Can we go there for just a moment because I was just in the temple yesterday and
0:55.0	actually ran into a few of you in the Celestial Room. Great conversation about the Scriptures and about truth
1:00.0	and about the way the Lord presents the truth, because the Lord's presentation of truth has changed in the temple.
1:06.0	As of this week, and if you haven't heard, please go to the temple and learn.
1:11.0	And you may end up learning more than you ever have before.
1:15.0	I'll do this briefly because I want to get back to Scripture as quickly as we can,
1:19.0	but there is a difference between the endowment and the presentation of the endowment.
1:24.0	The endowment hasn't changed at all. The endowment is a gift from God, a gift that keeps on giving,
1:29.0	because that's what endowments are. And specifically, it's a gift of power from on high.
1:34.0	When people say, oh, I'm going to the temple, so I can take out my endowments, that always rubs me the wrong way,
1:38.0	because it sounds like you're going to check out a library book. You don't take out your endowments.
1:43.0	The technical term from Scripture, I'm going to the temple to be endowed with power from on high.
1:49.0	And that power is the gift that keeps on giving that God is offering us.
1:54.0	And he offers it to us because we are offering ourselves to him in covenant relationship.
