0:45.0	But today we are covering Matthew 2 and Luke 2,
0:48.0	the most well-known Christmas story in all history as it recounts the birth of Jesus.
0:55.0	From two different perspectives, from Matthews as well as from Luke's.
0:58.0	And as we studied last week and began to understand the differences between these gospel writers,
1:03.0	next week we'll get to know John and his approach and then the week after we'll get to know Mark and his approach.
1:08.0	But last week, as we spent time in Matthew 1 and Luke 1,
1:11.0	I hope you got a sense of who these gospel writers are,
1:15.0	what their audience is, what their approach is, what their aim, how they portray the Savior.
1:20.0	Last week's lesson, that first half, especially, was really important for all that we're going to be seeing later on in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
