0:39.2	What I love about going verse by verse is that it confronts culture,

1:01.8	It may even confront traditions and when you go verse by verse there's scriptures that you cannot overlook and that you cannot pass by
1:07.5	but we have to seek for an in-depth meaning um we put out the real about how in
1:18.6	Matthew 18 that God holds the offender accountable and I for a lot of people that that was a shocker they never heard of Jesus holding the offender
1:37.2	accountable but it's Jesus' words and there were some people that had an issue with Matthew chapter 18, verses 6 and 7.
1:51.2	And that's fine, but it's still the Word of God.
1:54.8	And we have to bend ourselves to God's word.
2:01.2	I have to always come under the text.
2:05.8	My presuppositions, my pre-understandings, my thoughts, my outlooks, my background,
2:14.5	my background.
2:15.7	It cannot take place priority over God's word.
2:22.2	I have to constantly come under his word.
2:27.7	And that's the same for all of us,
2:29.6	because that's the only way that we're going to be changed
2:32.5	is if we come under the Word of God.
