0:42.0	I hope you are enjoying the New Testament as much as I am.
0:45.0	Last year when we studied the Old Testament many of you made comments like,
0:48.0	I've always been scared to death of this book.
0:50.0	And yet it's starting to come to life and I'm enjoying it.
0:53.0	A lot of you said similar things about the doctrine of covenants.
0:56.0	That old book of rules says my grandma used to call.
0:59.0	And yet you fell in love with that book during your study there as well.
1:02.0	The New Testament probably didn't need a whole lot of extra help for you to fall in love with it.
1:08.0	This is a book that you've probably at least this first half, the Gospels.
1:12.0	We were all raised with, tell me the stories of Jesus.
1:17.0	And to be able to spend our time following him around the streets of Jerusalem
1:22.0	and the paths of Galilee, it's a privilege, it's a sacred honor.
1:27.0	And I hope that we are feeling close to him.
1:30.0	And just grateful for the opportunity we have to learn so directly from the Son of God.
1:35.0	We are going to learn directly from him today because we're going to be studying Matthew 15, 16, and 17.
